Campaign: Properly Fitted Wheelchairs
Here’s the story of Don Colp, a former internationally recognized Chain Saw Sculptor, who was sold a wheelchair that was too small for him. A HandyDART employee noticed his need and connected him with us. Langley Pos-Abilities wants to help more people like Don find the best equipment possible to meet their needs.
Campaign: Give the Gift of Mobility
One of the challenges facing people with disabilities is finding the funding to repair their adaptive devices. Therefore we would like to address this issue and have a pilot project designed to do just that in an economical and easy manner.
Campaign: Portable Scooter for Mary Rogers
Goal Reached – Mary has her new scooter!
Mary has a dangerous infection—osteomyelitis—and how far up the leg it goes has yet to be determined. The excruciating, mind-numbing, soul-crushing pain is the end result of an accident that happened five years ago to the day.
